TRAINING

Retriever Training (dogs wanting to achieve titles)
Retriever training is a program that is a minimum of 5 months with test locations and dates in mind. All dogs will have to successfully complete obedience, collar conditioning, and force fetch. Once the basics are completed the dog will be run on marks and concepts will be taught accordingly. Hunt tests are attended within reasonable travel distances. Transportation and handling fees are applied to dogs that are running hunt tests. For further details on this program please feel free to call Andy at High Caliber Labradors 605-695-5227.

$500/ month
*additional charge for birds
Pigeons $3.00/ live bird
Ducks $10.00/ live bird

Chukar $6.50/ bird

Quail $4.50/ bird

Handling $50.00/ test day

Traveling $75.00/ test

Heartworm preventative and flea and tick preventative required. Will be charged for both if not provided.

Gundog Training
Gundog training is a 2-3 month program that consist of obedience, collar condition, and introduction to guns and birds. This program is designed for young dogs that are going to be used as gundogs. Basic commands (here, sit, heel and kennel) will be taught. Force fetch is optional in this program but can be incorporated. Program is designed for all sporting breeds.

*Frequent progress updates
*All dogs must be on Heartworm preventative along with flea and tick preventative.
(Additional cost for both will be added to bill if not provided! This is required by High Caliber Labradors for your dogs safety and well being.)
*Current vaccinations
(rabies-dhlpp-bordetella must provide proof of vaccinations)

*Veterinary services owners responsibility (ex. Injury, illness, emergencies)

*OFA services are offered for clients with all cost occurring paid by client

Payment for 4 weeks due upon arrival at High Caliber Labradors then billed monthly

** All dogs do NOT learn at the same rate, your dog may take more time depending on work attitude, desire, age, and trainability, etc.
